Assists Maintenance Mechanic in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities- Adhere to all state and federal OSHA codes and regulations.
- Maintain plant equipment and facilities.
- Complete preventive maintenance work orders.
- Complete corrective work orders.
- Work projects such as installing gas and air lines, landscaping, and miscellaneous maintenance projects.
- Any duties assigned by the lead man or the maintenance department manager.
- Assist with monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.
- Complete all paperwork and data entry as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Clean work area, tools, and equipment.
- Assist maintenance/production staff as needed.
- Be flexible with schedule as needed.
- Follow all company established rules and policies.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- High school education, GED; or up to one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's License.
