SummarySouthway Crane & Rigging Inc. seeks an experienced full‑time Crane/Truck Technician Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and other equipment. The candidate must comply with all State and Federal laws, safety, and environmental policies while operating motor vehicles and performing job tasks.

Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- 3–7 years experience as a mobile crane mechanic/technician, capable of inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various crane/truck equipment including mobile cranes (all terrain, rough terrain, boom trucks)
- Proficient with electrical and hydraulics in modern crane technology; knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, and LICCON systems
- Ability to read and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, technical drawings, and schematics
- Competence in testing mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products after repair or modification to ensure proper operation and compliance with OEM specifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to acquire a TWIC card if required
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision, including overtime, evenings, weekends, and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Must pass a drug screen and background check; must communicate safety issues verbally to customers and coworkers
- Supply own tools and maintain an up‑to‑date tool inventory
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on cranes, forklifts, and related equipment
- Document all maintenance and repairs, file records correctly
- Work independently and report completion of job tasks to the Supervisor/Lead Mechanic
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
- Observe and maintain all equipment according to safety requirements
