Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician, HVAC Tech / Heating Engineer
The ideal candidate will be responsible or maintaining and repairing and installing HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and mechanical components/equipment. Maintaining the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic, environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc. Work with BAS controls, chiller operations, pump operations, water treatment programs, air handler units, and VAV’s.
Job Responsibilities /Accountabilities:- Conducts inspections,maintenance,repairs,andserviceonavarietyofchillersystems,including air-cooled,water-cooled,andcentrifugalchillers.
- Operates,troubleshoots,andmaintainscomplexchillerequipmentwhilediagnosingandresolvingmechanicalandoperationalissues.
- advancedtechnicalknowledgeinperformingcompleteequipmentoverhauls,system evaluations,androot-cause diagnostics.
- Skilledindiagnosing,servicing,maintaining,andrepairingawiderangeofHVACandmechanicalequipment,including:
- Air-cooled chillers(reciprocating,screw,andscroll) upto
100tons - Large water-cooledchillersystems
- Cooling towers
- Pumpsandpumpingsystems
- Air compressors
- Compressedairdryers
- Variable Air Volume (VAV) boxes
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Airhandlingunits(AHU)
- Mustbeabletoreadblueprintsandas-built drawings.
- Beabletosolveproblems
- Planworkandselectpropertools.
- Visualizeobjectsinthreedimensionsfromplansanddrawings.
- Compareandseedifferencesinthesize,shapeandformoflines,figuresandobjects
