Schedule: Monday Friday, currently 7:00am - 3:30pm

Tekberry is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support EV battery recycling operations with our client, a leader in the automotive and mobility services industry.

Job Summary:

This position will work safely to move product throughout the warehouse where the individual is located.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Adhere to company policies and procedures
Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), conducting pre-operational equipment checks, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents.
Ensure that products are handled and stored in a manner that preserves their quality and prevents damage.
Collaborate with warehouse staff, Supervisors, and logistics teams to coordinate the movement of materials and meet operational goals.
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments.
Utilize light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Forklift experience required.
Valid forklift certification, preferred.
The ability to pass a background check and clear results
The ability to maintain a drug-free environment, as this is a safety-sensitiv position.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

This is a physical position and requires frequent walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds or more while utilizing team lifting or equipment. This position works in a warehouse environment and may be subject to loud noises, weather elements such as extreme heat or cold, dust particles and moving equipment at all times.
