Roll Off; Push CDL A Driver

Position Title

Roll‑Off/Tractor Driver

Operate roll‑off truck with responsibility to perform roll‑off units and hauling routes.

Route Supervisor

• Drive roll‑off truck
• Operate equipment in accordance with O&M manual
• Check material for quality and conformity
• Clean equipment (truck) daily
• Take material to designated storage area safely
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations
• Accurately complete daily log book
• Obey all company safety regulations
• Obey all traffic laws
• Perform assigned duties on roll‑off delivery and hauling routes
• Mount and dismount heavy‑duty roll‑off containers many times each day
• Lifting (up to 50–75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending
• Maintain safe driving records and communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and customer service department
• Accurately complete logs, reports and vehicle inspections daily
• Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and all company policies and procedures
• Follow company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct
• Follow all company safety guidelines
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned

• High school education or equivalent (GED)
• 21 years of age or older
• Legal US Citizen
• CDL Class A required
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a CDL Class A driver
• Meet or exceed DOT medical standard
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions
• Clean safety record/MVR
• Capable of performing heavy lifting, bending, and sitting for extended periods
• Professional and courteous demeanor at all times
• Follow DOT regulation 49 CFR 383.51 qualifications
• Meet PRATT Driver MVR Qualification Standards
• Pass background check, drug screen and physical
• Complete and maintain driver log
• Identify equipment maintenance needs
• Multi‑task, interpersonal communication, problem solving, and time management skills needed
• Function in extreme temperatures and be available for weekend work schedules
• Professional attitude & conduct
• High degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
• Professional and courteous attitude to co‑workers, supervisors and the general public at all times
• Willing to travel and work away from home when required
• Work nights and weekends when necessary
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and the policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co‑workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as instructed by PRATT Safety and OSHA
• At least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment
• Flexible to the needs of the business
• Random and suspicion drug tests performed
