Truck Driver - CDL Class A

Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

Earn $22.28 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. Local, home daily. No touch, drop and hook.

• Driver is responsible for hauling corrugated product to customers locally
• Average 10 stops per week
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Must follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency is required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Must work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
• Position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and safe operation is required
• Must accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others

• The associate must be able to see and hear; specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must frequently move, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
