Job Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Conyers, GA, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a rewarding driving career.

• Earn $1,500+ weekly
• Paid weekly
• 60 or more hours per week
• Solo miles: $0.70 per mile
• Solo stops: $24.50 per stop
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday (shifts change during peak season)
• Dispatch start: 12:30 AM - 6:00 AM

• 80 hours PTO in first year, use from Day 1

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check with drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years, OR 2 years within last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or customer‑specific background requirements.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
