Warehouse Staff

Role and Responsibilities:

Safely, accurately, and efficiently complete order fulfillment and warehousing duties.

Prepare, package and document outgoing orders (including but not limited to aligning shipments with correct shipping documents and coordinating with warehouse supervisor to execute pick-ups).Stage loading and unloading areas.

Receive incoming shipments and place them in the respective locations.

Inspect, inventory, document, and store shipments.

Comprehend and utilize ISO
9001 Inventory Management Systems and Safety Procedures, as well as FIFO inventory methodology.

Load material on and off skids, pallets, stands etc. Load and unload pallets and materials from trucks.

Package, box, and crate material in compliance with company standards.

Communicate with suppliers, receivers, drivers, and staff for smooth shipment.

Operate a computer to process reports, email instructions and forms, and maintain inventory of warehouse materials as required. Assist inventory counts and reconciliation monthly.

Maintain cleanliness and overall organization of the warehouse.

Preferred Education,

Skills and Experience:

Safety mindset and commitment to safe workplace practices

Proficient with inventory control systems

Ability to thoroughly understand all warehouse policies and procedures

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Excellent time management skills

High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred

Microsoft Office experience and general computer skills

Forklift operation experience strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, bending and carrying.

Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
