Material Handler, General Labor, Forklift Operator
Compensation: $24.04 to $27.04 an hour (Based on Experience) - paid weekly.
Position OverviewThis position is responsible for the receiving and managing of inbound inventory from internal and external suppliers and to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper materials storage management.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Inbound trailer unloading.
- Coordinate with suppliers and carriers for timely receiving of materials.
- Validating of BOL, COA and other documentation in accordance with inbounds.
- Inspections of received goods for damage or discrepancies for immediate reporting.
- Systematically entering of inbounds accurately in SAP systems PTP/PLE.
- Coordinate the delivery of various packages to departmental personnel.
- Maintain accurate records and files for audit reviews.
- Routing and transportation of inbounds to warehouse racking and overflow storage.
- Effectively and efficiently work with Logistics NTL and Supervisor in resolving receiving or warehouse issues.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools/mechanical devices for parts recognition.
- Backup for Resin Unloading.
- Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program.
- One+ year of basic material handling experience to include trailer loading/unloading.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Effective verbal and written communication, proficient in math and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
- No step 2 corrective action within the last 6 months.
- No more than 5 attendance points.
- Must be able to work alternate hours when needed (LTO backup-12 hours).
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree.
- Successful completion of lift truck/forklift certification program.
- Computer skills:
Proficient knowledge of PC and MS office software, SAP (LES and PTP Functions) and RF knowledge.
- Climb 60 Foot Silos.
- Carry 50lbs at least 500 Feet.
