Position: Technician I - Logistics

Job Summary

The Technician I - Logistics will provide shipping, receiving and inventory maintenance support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Properly package, label and tag warehouse inventory.
  • Complete and log daily activities including receiving, shipping, stocking, tooling, auditing, issuing all materials and completing special assignments.
  • Conduct cycle‑counts of inventory and manage daily log.
  • Enter material into IES Inventory database.
  • Load and unload goods and supplies and ensure proper handling of the same.
  • Maintain warehouse quality by keeping track of all damaged inventory and reporting it in a timely manner.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Operate forklifts and company vehicles as required.
  • Work in accordance with 5S organization and Lean principles.
  • Efficiently carry out all task assignments.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Regular attendance mandatory.
  • Entry‑level knowledge of operating warehouse machinery and equipment.
  • Self‑motivated, positive approach, professional, and help create, develop and implement process improvement projects.
  • Promote company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Prefer familiarity with cycle‑counting, order picking, shipping, receiving and operating a forklift.
  • Work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Meet company minimum driving standards.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (SAP, Spectrum).
  • Intermediate skill level using Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to use power tools.
  • Physical agility to conduct warehouse inventory.
  • Knowledge of 5S and Lean environments a plus.
  • Must meet company minimum driving standards.

Salary:
Min USD $20.00/Yr. Max USD $25.00/Yr.
