Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Office Manager position located in Cookeville, TN. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing office operations with a primary focus on accounting and financial administration. Key responsibilities include managing payroll, maintaining accurate financial and administrative records, processing invoices, coordinating with vendors, and supporting basic bookkeeping functions. This role will also handle general office administration, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with internal procedures.
Qualifications- Strong communication and professionalism when working with employees, vendors, and external partners
- Proven experience with payroll processing, including familiarity with systems such as Quick Books and Gusto
- Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles, including invoicing, expense tracking, and record reconciliation
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial tracking and reporting
- Experience maintaining accurate financial, payroll, and administrative records
- Ability to manage deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive financial information
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced office environment
- Previous experience in office management, accounting, or administrative roles preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in accounting, finance, or business administration are a plus
