PositionRogers Group Inc. is currently seeking Experienced Asphalt Roller Operators in the Tennessee Cookeville / Upper Cumberland operations area. This role reports to the Paving Superintendent. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead safety and work effectively in a team environment.

Full-time / Permanent - Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule:
Weekend work and Night Shift operations may be required - Compensation:
Overtime available with extensive medical and retirement benefits
- Operate asphalt roller equipment to compact hot mix asphalt in accordance with project specifications.
- Follow rolling patterns, speeds, and compaction requirements to achieve proper density and smoothness.
- Coordinate with the paving crew, screed operator, and foreman to maintain consistent mat quality.
- Monitor asphalt temperature and surface conditions to ensure optimal compaction results.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance; report mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site in compliance with Rogers Group safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with other paving and labor-related tasks as needed to support crew operations and meet project schedules.
- Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
- Experience operating asphalt rollers or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of asphalt paving operations, compaction methods, and rolling techniques
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance with Rogers Group policies
