Assistant​/Associate​/Full Professor - Computer Science

Description of Job Duty:

The Department of Computer Science is seeking applicants to fill one open-rank tenured/tenure-track position beginning August 1, 2026.

Essential Functions:

Selected candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, engage in scholarly activities, develop externally funded research programs, direct the research of students at the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. levels, serve on committees at the department, college, and university levels, engage in professional and public service, and advise students on professionalism and career opportunities.

Physical Demands:

Those typical of any classroom-type environment or office environment.

Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track or tenured position to start August 1, 2026.

Benefits Information:

Benefits include the accumulation of one (1) sick leave day per month and thirteen (13) University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k, and educational benefits. Deferred income and benefits over 12 months.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in computer science or a related field; relevant teaching experience; established research program including experience in proposal writing; industrial experience.
