University Professor, Academic
Full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank starting in August 2027. All areas of interest will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate and/or MBA levels.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions:Tennessee Technological University and the College of Business value excellence in teaching, research, and student mentoring. The typical teaching load is 9 hours per semester. Instruction is provided in classroom, online, and hybrid learning environments. Research leading to high-quality refereed publications is required. Engagement with the business community and service to the university and the profession are expected.
Physical Demands:Those typical of an office or classroom environment.

Ph.D. or DBA with a specialization in Marketing from an AACSB-accredited college of business. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will also be considered, but the degree must be conferred by 08/01/2027. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching, research, and service to the university and profession.
Preferred Qualifications:Teaching/research interest in retailing, social media marketing, and/or advertising.
Teaching experience, including online/hybrid modalities. Professional experience and/or certifications.
