The primary responsibility of this position is academic support for undergraduate students. Advisors contribute to the mission of the Office of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS) by performing general duties including: advising undergraduate students on academic requirements and policies; advising students in the development and completion of their academic and career goals; participating in various student success programs and initiatives;
working with the Office of Orientation for the effective registration and orientation of new freshmen and new transfer students participating in the Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration (SOAR) program.
