• Starting, stopping, and adjusting equipment on the paint line, such as sprayers, conveyors, and ovens. Operators monitor the process to ensure smooth and efficient operation, adjusting as needed to maintain quality and production standards.
• Preparing the paint or coating by mixing, thinning, and adjusting the color and viscosity according to specifications. Operators may also be responsible for filling paint tanks and ensuring the proper flow of materials to the spray equipment.
• Paint line operators are responsible for inspecting the finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. This may involve visual inspections, dimensional checks, and other quality control measures.
• May be required to keep records of production data, quality control results, and material usage.
