Experienced Plumbing Technician​/Mechanic

Lee Company is seeking an Experienced Plumbing Technician/Mechanic to install, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems on residential, commercial, and light industrial projects. You will troubleshoot piping, fixtures, pumps, water heaters, and backflow systems while following safety and plumbing codes. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, performing preventative maintenance, documenting work in digital systems, and delivering professional, customer-focused service. Work closely with a family-oriented team that values training, craftsmanship, and safety while supporting key construction and service projects across the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping in residential and commercial settings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing layouts
• Perform preventative maintenance on piping, pumps, water heaters, and related equipment
• Ensure all work complies with local and national plumbing codes and company safety standards
• Use hand and power tools, test equipment, and digital work order systems to complete jobs efficiently
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates, explaining findings and recommended repairs
• Document work performed, materials used, and time on digital or paper service tickets
• Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to meet schedules and quality expectations
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and company vehicle
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with codes, products, and best practices
