VANRATH has an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy workshop team at a well-established dealership in the Mid Ulster area.
We are keen to hear from technicians from all backgrounds - whether you currently work in a main dealership, an independent garage, or are a final-year apprentice looking for the opportunity to develop your career.
You do not need previous main dealer brand experience. Full manufacturer training will be provided, with the opportunity to progress through a structured manufacturer training programme.
The RoleWorking as part of an experienced workshop team, your duties will include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Using modern diagnostic equipment
- Carrying out vehicle health checks and inspections
- Road testing vehicles where required
- Working to a high standard of quality and customer care
We would be interested in hearing from:
- Qualified Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics
- Technicians currently working in independent garages
- Main dealership technicians looking for a change
- Final-year motor vehicle apprentices
- Technicians looking to develop their diagnostic and technical skills
An NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential.
A full UK driving licence is required.
Previous main dealer brand experience is not essential.
