Educate students through planning and delivering instruction.

Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Enforce the course of study, use of adopted textbooks, rules and regulations prescribed for schools
• Develop lesson plans that address the Arizona Academic Standards
• Monitor and assess student mastery of the Arizona Academic Standards
• Maintain student confidentiality
• Keep parents informed of student progress
• Adjust instruction to meet individual differences and specific IEP objectives
• Work with colleagues and ancillary personnel to develop student programs
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development activities and district in-service sessions

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree, minimum
• Valid Az. Dept of Education Certificate with appropriate endorsement for specific area if applicable:
  Reading Endorsement Required.
• Transcripts
• Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card

Salary placement is dependent upon experience and degree.
