Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED, and successful completion of the Paraprofessional Test or 60 college credit hours or an associate's degree from an accredited college
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Ability to work with students at various educational levels
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to effectively communicate with students and employees
• Ability to promote good customer service
• Under supervision of the teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
• Participates in in-service training programs, as assigned.
• Performs various duties to ensure the safety of students is always maintained at the school site.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
