Job Description

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Successful Completion of the Paraprofessional Test
Or 60 College Credit Hours
Or Associate's Degree from an Accredited College
Experience working with diverse populations
Ability to work with students at various educational levels
Ability to work independently
Effective communication with students and employees
Promote good customer service

Responsibilities:

Under supervision of the teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material introduced by the teacher.
Participates in in‑service training programs, as assigned.
Performs various duties to ensure students' safety is always maintained at the school site.
Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Reports To: Teacher and Site Principal

Application Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, and

Successful Completion of the Paraprofessional Test or 60 College Credit Hours above high school diploma or Associate's Degree from an Accredited College

Three Letters of Recommendation, preferably from previous employers or supervisors. Do not include letters from relatives/family members.

IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

First Aid/CPR or the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Starting salary is dependent upon experience.
