Category Leader

Kohler is seeking a Category Leader, MRO to own strategy and sourcing for maintenance, repair, and operating supplies across our manufacturing network. In this role, you will analyze spend, develop category roadmaps, and lead supplier selection, negotiation, and performance management to ensure reliable, cost-effective MRO availability. You'll collaborate closely with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering, driving standardization, savings, and risk mitigation while supporting Kohler's focus on craftsmanship, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MRO category strategies to support manufacturing operations
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with MRO suppliers
• Analyze spend data to drive cost savings and value improvements
• Ensure reliable availability of critical maintenance, repair, and operating supplies
• Partner with plant operations, maintenance, and engineering on requirements
• Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement
• Mitigate supply risk and ensure compliance with company policies
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects and initiatives
• Support standardization of MRO materials and suppliers across plants
• Report category performance, savings, and KPIs to leadership
