RoleAssociate Service Technician: you will focus on performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), detail services, test drives, and basic repairs on Lucid vehicles before customers take delivery. You will demonstrate your passion for sustainable transportation and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment. The role is based out of our Coolidge facility and will be performing PDI inspections and reconditioning efforts as well as other duties appropriate for the role and level.
ASE certifications are expected within 6-8 months of hire;
Lucid will reimburse the cost upon successful completion.
- Basic repairs on Lucid vehicles including but not limited to - remove and replace parts, body adjustments, tire and wheel exchanges, functionality testing, test driving, and work order administration on vehicles for delivery.
- Document all vehicle interactions using the appropriate software suite.
- Perform software updates as needed during inspection.
- Communicate and collaborate with service team members and customers.
- Learn High/Low Voltage systems.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for positive client experiences.
- Support remote work and mobile service as needed; travel may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 18+ years of age or older.
- Ability to learn High/Low Voltage processes.
- Customer-facing experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software.
- Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training post hire.
- Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year. Drivers under 21 must have at least 3 years of licensed driving history and complete Lucid Training on hire.
- Experience in automobile repair environments.
- Prior experience with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).
- Experience with EV diagnosis and repair.
- Basic electronic principles.
- Willingness to obtain ASE Certification per Lucid’s Career Framework and additional licenses (A4, A5, A6, A7).
- EPA 609 Certification (willing to obtain upon hire).
Base Pay Range (hourly): $23 - $32 USD.

Cash or equity incentive awards depend on factors including individual and company performance.
