Job Overview

The Warehouse Operations Clerk plays a vital role supporting the college’s operational needs. This position is responsible for supplies received, delivered, and maintains accurate inventory records. Coordinates the movement of material and equipment on Signal Peak Campus (SPC), and five satellite campuses located within Pinal County.

This is a part time position working a maximum of 19 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, the associate will verify material received against packing lists, bills of lading, or other records. Report any shipment containing product overage or shortage. Obtain approval to reject damaged goods. Ensure timely in‑checking and delivery for express carrier packages. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems. Assist with the movement of property being placed in/removed from storage, transferred, or disposed of.

  • Responsible for receiving shipments from US Postal Service, Fed Ex, UPS, Amazon, etc.
  • In a timely manner, create a transportation manifest for packages received, load vehicle and deliver inbound shipments to campus mailroom, dormitory mailroom, and SPC Staff.
  • Unload supplies from carrier conveyance and inspect the condition of inbound cargo.
  • Verify items received against packing lists or commercial carrier shipping documents.
  • Coordinate the pick‑up, transfer, and delivery of inter‑campus courier mail.
  • On a daily basis, account for undelivered packages.
  • Inventory warehouse supplies and equipment.
  • Complete applicable training as required.
  • Observe and adhere to safety standards; maintain a clean, unobstructed work area.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Operate pallet jack, golf cart, hand truck, and other material handling equipment.
  • Use a broom, duster, air blower, etc. to maintain warehouse cleanliness.
  • In order to sustain warehouse operations, associate(s) may be requested to fulfill Operations Technician duties on a temporary basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Mon 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (4.5 hours)

Tue 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (4.5 hours)

Wed 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (5.0 hours)

Thu 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (5.0 hours)

Qualifications
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • One (1) year of relevant work experience in an office/warehouse environment.
Background Verification

As a condition of employment, all candidates accepting an offer of employment for a full‑time, part‑time, temporary, student worker, or volunteer position will be required to undergo a Background Verification. Employment with Central Arizona College is contingent upon the successful completion of the background verification. The level of background verification for this position is:
Standard level.
