We offer rotating opportunities for detective assignments, SWAT, mobile field force, firearms, response to resistance, K-9, and reality-based training instructors. We have a great team of officers who go above and beyond to ensure strong community engagement and exceptional public service.

2026 Pay Range: $44.29 - $59.37

Works under the general guidance and direction of the Shift Sergeant or other superior officers as necessary, to perform law enforcement work in the protection of life, property, and the civil rights of individual citizens. Officers of this rank enforce City, County, State and Federal Statutes, laws and ordinances. Police officers preserve peace; prevent, detect and investigate accidents and crimes; arrest violators;

and provide aid and comfort to citizens in emergency situations. General responsibilities include traffic, patrol and general law enforcement, policy community relations, and record keeping and reports.

• Performs Police duties including walking, bicycle, and vehicle patrols, traffic control, preparing reports and responding to emergency situations.
