Nova Care Rehabilitation is currently hiring a full-time Injury Prevention-Work Strategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, PTA, COTA, or individual of a similar background. This position will be on-site in Minnetonka, MN at Abbott Medical.
Position: Injury Prevention Specialist
Location: 2104 Northdale Blvd Suite 100 Coon Rapids MN 55433
Type of Employment: Full-time
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (8am-6pm)
Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, based on years of experience
Incentives: $5,000 Sign-on bonus, Student Debt Benefit ($200 monthly tuition assistance)

- Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
- Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Job coaching and behavior modification, both 1:1 and in group settings
- Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
- Document and report on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
- Minimum one year of experience
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
- Experience in an industrial setting
