American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification for a Level II Trauma Center in a teaching hospital setting.

• Acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Serves adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department patient populations
• 13-week assignment
• Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• May float to an affiliate campus as needed to meet facility needs
• Open to block scheduling accommodations
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR and PACS with Siemens equipment
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
• Performs specialized procedures including CT arthrography, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, vascular CTA, and coronary CTA
• Utilizes 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement for image display and post-processing

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT Tech specialty
• BLS and ARRT-R certification required
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required;
  Level I Trauma and community hospital experience preferred
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Proficiency with contrast media preparation and administration
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Grey scrub color required

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest regions with advanced post-processing techniques
• Conduct specialized procedures such as biopsies, drainage, vascular studies, and CT arthrography
• May float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby as needed
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates are accepted for this radiology position
• Ideally no more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment
• Returning employees must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as staff or per diem
