Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of specialty experience and required Epic charting system experience for a Level II Trauma Center teaching hospital.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT specialty required
• Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required;
  Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and ROI measurement
• Experience with contrast media preparation and/or administration
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Prior travel healthcare experience required

• Acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patient populations
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging
• Specialized procedures include coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
• Utilizes Siemens equipment and PACS system
• Charting completed in Epic (Excellian)
• Evening shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No weekend requirement
• No on‑call requirement
• May float to an affiliate campus within the hospital system as needed
• Responsibilities include performing CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest regions
• May perform specialized procedures such as coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, PET CT, radiation therapy planning, and transplant studies
• Grey scrub color required
• No parking fees at this facility
• Open to block scheduling accommodations
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Locals accepted for this position
• Candidates outside of the local radius are subject to a 100‑mile restriction
• Returning employees must have been separated from staff or per diem roles for at least 3 months prior to starting a travel assignment
• RTO should ideally not exceed 5 days during the assignment
