Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patient status during treatment;
Administer heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law and monitor vascular access cannulation;
Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters; document treatment sheets and progress notes;
Participate in infection control and environmental safety procedures; support CQI activities;
Assist in training of direct patient care staff and coordinate transitions in patient care plans
