Nova Care Rehabilitation is seeking an engaging and enthusiastic PRN Injury Prevention Specialist to join our team supporting Life Fitness on-site in Owatonna, MN. This is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT, or individual of a similar background. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you.
This dynamic role integrates ergonomics, employee education and coaching, preventive exercise programs, early intervention strategies, and health and wellness services to reduce workplace injuries and enhance overall employee well-being.
Position:Injury Prevention Specialist
Location:2104 Northdale Blvd Suite 100 Coon Rapids MN 55433 (on-site in Owatonna, MN)
Type of Employment:Part-time
Schedule:Weekdays (Hours vary)
Compensation:$35.00 - $45.00, hourly based on years of experience

What will you be doing in this role?
- Perform ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Develop and deliver employee education and perform audits
- Conduct movement assessments and develop preventative exercise programs
- Engage with new hire employees on education, ergonomics, and injury prevention
- Deliver return-to-work program for employees returning from injury
- Provide early symptom intervention (ESI) care for employees
- Provide health and wellness coaching on a wide range of topics
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
- Minimum one year of experience
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
- Experience in an industrial setting
