Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 1+ year of specialty experience and ARRT-R certification.

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• BLS and ARRT-R certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required;
  Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Proficiency in image display and post‑processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
• Experience with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA
• PET CT, coronary CTA, radiation therapy planning, and transplant study experience preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation precautions/PPE

• Acute Care Teaching Hospital, Level II Trauma Center setting
• Adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patient populations
• 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• No on‑call requirements
• No weekend requirements
• Open to block scheduling
• May float to an affiliate campus as needed
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR and Siemens/PACS imaging equipment
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Grey scrub color required
• Locals accepted for this radiology position
• Candidates not local must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
• Returning travelers must have at least 3 months gap since last worked as staff or per diem
• RTO requests ideally limited to no more than 5 days
