Position Summary
The Project / Program Manager role serves to lead accessibility compliance initiatives and support companion application integration work, particularly related to ARCC, Title II accessibility, and Workday companion projects. This higher education client is subject to Title II accessibility requirements specifically around student-facing information (documents, PDFs, systems, applications).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inventory student-facing and internal-facing documents
- Classify and prioritize by compliance risk
- Establish remediation workflows
- Define roles and responsibilities across departments
- Manage Stakeholders
- Pull together IT, Teaching & Learning, Academic Affairs, Administration, and vendors
- Align on timelines, tools, and ownership
- Build Sustainable Processes
- Document standards and procedures
- Define how new documents are created compliantly going forward
- Reduce reliance on ad-hoc fixes
- Support Companion Project Work
- Assist with Workday Student companion project planning
- Help inventory and prioritize 24-36 third-party applications for integration
- Coordinate technical and functional contributors
