As a Buyer at Ryerson, you will be responsible for understanding of supply chain concepts and maintenance of MRP inputs at the item level. You will work alongside the Supply Chain Director and other buyers, to help execute upon strategic supply chain buy plans aligned by Ryerson Corporation. In addition, you will work with commercial teams on the alignment of supply chain/vendors for customer transactional and contract opportunities.
There will be a need to help manage vendor relationships and support existing and new vendor development.
- Timely execution of MRP for internally sourced items, outside processed items and external buys as necessary
- Replenishment, order maintenance, stock service level review including expediting as necessary
