Job type: Direct hire

Location: Coon Rapids, MN

Wage: $35.00 – $39.00/hr.

Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday – Friday

Duties of the grinder machinist:

• Set up and operate CNC, manual, and /OD/surface grinders
• Produce components with extremely tight tolerances
• Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Determine inspection methods with or without dedicated fixtures
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make technical adjustments
  
  Participate in 5S and Kaizen improvement initiatives
• Support team development and share technical expertise

Requirements of the grinder machinist:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with CNC or manual grinders (/OD/Surface)
• Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
• Background in precision machining or tool & die
• Skilled with precision measurement tools and ERP systems
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and dependable work habits
