Our Manufacturing Leads are leaders on the production floor who drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence within their work centers. This position serves as the primary shop floor leader, providing direction, coaching, technical support, and accountability to team members while actively contributing to daily production activities.
The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential, with additional compensation based on experience.
In this role, you will coordinate daily work assignments, support employee development, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this position requires strong technical manufacturing knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to building a high-performing team environment.
What You'll Do- Lead and support daily production activities within your work center
- Train, coach, and assist team members to ensure success
- Promote a safe, quality-focused work environment
- Help troubleshoot manufacturing and process issues
- Monitor production performance and support continuous improvement efforts
- Coordinate work priorities and communicate effectively with team members and leadership
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Previous leadership, training, or team lead experience preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
- Computer proficiency and experience working with production systems
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
