Endoscopy Technician

• Salary Range: Starting range $20.28 - $23.32/hour (placement within the range varies by experience & education)

• Turn around procedure rooms: set up and take down
• Troubleshoot endoscopes in the procedure room as needed
• Clean and high‑level disinfect endoscopes
• Clean, high‑level disinfect or sterilize accessory equipment
• Stock supplies for the endoscopy center and order as needed
• Prepare scopes for transport
• Help clean and make beds in recovery as needed
• Assist nursing staff and physicians as needed
• Operate and maintain endoscopy equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Understand and follow infection prevention processes
• Document in appropriate log sheets

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with equipment cleaning and reprocessing or as a sterile processing technician is preferred.

Walk, sit, stand, reach overhead, bend to the floor. Talk and hear regularly. Use hand dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Require close vision and ability to adjust focus. May lift and transport items up to 10 pounds occasionally. Travel to other company locations may be required.

Office environment with daily exposure to a computer monitor. Travel by automobile and exposure to changing weather conditions may be required. Must be alert to conditions that may impact safety of patients, employees and visitors.
