American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 1 year of critical care experience for a Level 2 Trauma teaching hospital, requiring an active MN RN license.

• Work in the Cath Lab of an acute care, teaching hospital that is a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Average daily census of 10-20 cases across 4 labs with approximately 12 visits per day
• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts starting at 7:30 AM
• On-call required approximately every 4th weekend and 1-2 weekdays per week based on department needs
• Float required between two campus locations as needed
• Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR system

• Active MN RN license (in hand preferred; pending license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, including some critical care experience
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Conscious sedation and telemetry experience required
• Scrub and ventilator management experience preferred

• Perform cardiac catheterization lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Manage procedural sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation, and vascular closure devices
• Provide care using topical hemostasis techniques and sheath removal/monitoring protocols
• Scrub color provided by facility
• No parking fees at this location
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted only for radiology positions; all other positions require candidates to live 100+ miles from the facility
• Returning staff must have been separated from perm employment (staff or per diem) for at least 3 months
• RTO ideally limited to no more than 5 days during the assignment
• Minnesota state fingerprinting requirement applies, which may require travel to a Live Scan location if not near Minnesota or one of the limited approved states
