Position Overview
The Team Member is the core of the Caribou experience. They create day‑making experiences by delivering unparalleled guest service, crafting world‑class beverages, and embodying the purpose and values of Caribou in every interaction.
Core Responsibilities- Provide excellent guest service:
- Develop personal, ongoing relationships with guests
- Practice active listening and connection
- Anticipate guest needs and solve opportunities using product knowledge and hospitality
- Suggest recommendations that delight guests
- Create day‑making experiences that spark a chain reaction of GOOD
- Hand‑craft beverages to order per Caribou standard operating procedures
- Prepare and serve Caribou food offerings per standard operating procedures
- Float between barista and guest service roles, fulfilling all team responsibilities
- Take guest orders, manage cash drawer, and follow all cash handling policies
- Maintain store cleanliness, sanitization, and organization standards
- Proactively anticipate and address team and guest needs
- Accept direction from leaders while managing multiple priorities

- Show up reliably, stay resilient under pressure, and ask for help when needed
- Ability to work at least one of the following: early mornings, evenings, some holidays and/or weekends
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Restaurant, retail, or guest service experience
Seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These demands can be accommodated with reasonable adjustments.
Compensation$11.23 – $18.71 per hour. Starting pay is subject to local and state minimum wage regulations; ranges reflect the employer’s expectations in good faith.
