Part Time Cashier

Position Overview

Cub Coon Rapids South on Northdale Boulevard is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time cashier position. Cashiers at Cub follow front‑end checkout procedures in all transactions, maintaining positive customer relations and expedient processing of all orders. This position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately, efficiently and promptly.
• Handle all forms of tender and coupons correctly.
• Handle voids, returns, refunds and exchanges accurately.
• Assist with customer questions or requests.
• Maintain front‑end cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.

• Operate equipment (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Have basic memorization, reading, writing and math skills.
• Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service with ongoing customer interaction.
• Use good judgment; when direct supervision is not immediately available.
• Understand and follow verbal or written instructions; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Work variable shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Be at least 16 years old.

Compensation:

UNFI anticipates paying the above‑referenced pay rate (or within the above‑referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. UNFI is committed to transparency in pay in compliance with applicable state and local laws.
