Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR
Come join our fast-paced growing sales team and be a part of an expanding category within the fitness industry. This entry level sales role will gain valuable experience by supporting Torque’s Outside Sales Representatives and enhancing the overall customer experience from start to finish with new and existing relationships within our customer database. This person will help engage with customers by creating product quotes, processing sales orders, and handling delivery management.
Reporting directly to the Inside Sales Manager, this role’s performance will be measured by their ability to become an expert in our product lines, quality and timeliness of sales proposals, and their ability to engage and interact with customers.
A working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and above average computer skills is preferred, but not mandatory.
Specific Role Responsibilities- Supply support to assigned Outside Sales Team member(s).
- Actively contribute and take part in sales meetings and company goals and objectives.
- Assist in project layouts in 3D software and aid X-DESIGN Team.
- Manage the sales process for new and assigned accounts until they are turned over to Outside Sales.
- Log all activity into the company’s customer relationship management system. Including, but not limited to leads, quotes, orders, and returns.
- Consistently manage quotes and orders in company CRM.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Strong people skills are needed as this position works closely with peer inside team, outside sales, VP of Sales and Torque Fitness customer base.
- Development and maintenance of business relationships is key to success in this role.
- Outstanding communication skills both oral and written.
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills no matter the size of the task.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interface with peers and executive level management.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to set priorities, and responsive to customer requests.
- Demonstrated ability to execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines.
- Demonstrate business knowledge, perspective, and ethical behavior.
- Initiative-taking and enthusiastic.
- Ability to adapt and shift focus quickly and accurately. Level decision making in instances of pressure or challenge.
- Knowledge/experience in the fitness industry helpful, but not needed.
- Outstanding communication skills both oral and written.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

Wage:
Starting Range $18-22/HR
PTO: 3 weeks (15 Days) PTO yearly with 40 hr. rollover
