Compensation & IncentivesBase pay: $31,200 per year, plus unlimited commissions on Property and Casualty, Life Insurance Referrals, AAA Memberships, and Credit Card sales. Average annual earnings range: $57,000–$87,000+. A $2,500 signing bonus is offered to new hires who have not applied to ACG within the last 180 days. A 1‑year payback clause applies if employment is terminated before 12 months.
Ramp‑up pay for the first six months:
- Additional $200 per week during months 0–2
- Additional $150 per week during months 3–4
- Additional $100 per week during months 5–6
New Hire On‑Pace Bonus tied to performance milestones; non‑exempt position with overtime eligibility.

- Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG‑branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high‑traffic branch.
- Leverage proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG’s insurance portfolio.
- Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
- Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
- Respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
- Identify and execute cross‑sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value.
- Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license or ability to obtain before hire.
- Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year(s) of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking).
- Insurance experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided to obtain necessary licenses.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including disciplined lead tracking, follow‑up, and pipeline management.
- Applied consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer value.
- Proven prospecting and business‑development skills, including generating new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, and networking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑first mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
- Results‑driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
- Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong listening and discovery skills with the ability to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:30PM (40 hours per week, one hour lunch). Work in a temperature‑controlled AAA branch. Occasional travel to branch or community events.
