As a Solutions Advisor at Ryerson, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and establishing relationships with customers.
Roles And Responsibilities- Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
- Work with different departments to execute account development plans
- Act within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
- Identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess each using standard procedures, and make sound decisions
- Prioritize concurrent customer demands and provide satisfactory service to all
- Balance concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
- All other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior sales or industry experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
Wage: $30.91 – $46.37 per hour. A starting hourly wage higher than $30.91 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
Travel is required for training. Training is anticipated to require weekly travel for approximately 3 weeks to one of our facilities in Powder Springs, GA.
