Position Summary:

Rihm Family Companies is looking for an On-Call Truck Driver to join our growing team.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Drive trucks and/or ride with driver to deliver between various locations upon request.

Communicate in a timely manner with company staff as required.

Interact professionally with staff, customers and vendors.

Maintain accurate and timely records as required by DOT federal regulations.

Comply with Federal laws pertaining to cellular phone use.

Other duties to meet business requirements.

Essential Qualifications Minimum of 2 years truck driving experience.

Must have active truck driving experience within the past 12 months.

Valid Class ‘B’ CDL and clean driving record.

Ability to pass DOT required physical and drug screen.

Key Attributes/Skills/Characteristics Flexibility to quickly respond to delivery/driving requests and work when provided with a minimum of a 24-notice period.

Ability to take public transportation (plane, rental car, bus) back to the starting point if a one-way trip is scheduled.

Ability to make short/local and long-distance trips on short notice.

Ability for overnight travel.

Professional appearance and manner.
