Director, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

• Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
• Serve as the in-house expert on revenue recognition and establish compliant accounting processes for product commercialization
• Manage the external audit process and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors on technical accounting matters
• Oversee equity accounting, including stock-based compensation calculations and related compliance requirements
• Develop and communicate accounting policies to ensure timely adoption across the organization

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting
• CPA certification required
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills

• Prior experience in public accounting within a national or Big Four firm
• Experience in the biotech industry, particularly with cell therapy revenue recognition
• Proficiency with financial reporting and equity administration tools such as Equity Edge or Net Suite
