• Oversee new business and underwriting operations, ensuring timely and accurate case management
• Manage the new business operations team, focusing on hiring, training, and development
• Identify and implement improvements to new business processes for enhanced efficiency
• Monitor case progress and resolve any issues or delays in processing
• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance of the team

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an insurance carrier, agency, or financial institution supporting life insurance applications
• At least 5 years of team management experience in case management or new business roles
• Knowledge of call center operations and experience with quality monitoring and evaluation
• Minimum 3 years of experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and other customer support tools
• Proficient in defining and managing KPIs and SLAs relevant to customer service

• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic underwriting principles
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues through data‑driven approaches
• Experience in training and coaching team members to meet quality standards
