What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Conduct incoming and outbound telephone calls regarding service questions and customer concerns.
- Review data reports and communication tools to respond effectively to customer inquiries.
- Record detailed written summaries of customer interactions in customer service software.
- Monitor the progress of service requests, providing follow-up as needed to ensure timely assistance.
- Perform clerical support functions such as data entry and logging email interactions.
- Minimum of 1 year of call center, customer service, and/or social work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to make reliable decisions under strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages.
- Knowledge of public housing development corporations and low- or middle-income resident populations.
- Experience using customer service software systems, including Zen Desk.
- Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to work independently or within a team.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
