Facility:
This healthcare facility features a free-standing cancer center with state-of-the-art equipment and EPIC electronic medical record system. The center is focused on providing timely care for new solid tumor diagnoses and offers comprehensive oncology services with a collaborative team approach to patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Details:

• ASAP start date with ongoing need - minimum commitment of 2 weeks per month required
• Functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a medical oncologist/hematologist
• Outpatient setting in a free-standing cancer center
•

Schedule:

4-5 days per week, 8:30am-4:30pm, with administrative time available
• Call schedule: 7 days of call including one weekend, 1:4 rotation
• Practice consists of approximately 20% hematology and 80% oncology cases
• Radiation oncologists are present during coverage
• Team includes 3 physicians and 2 APPs currently
• Average of 10-15 outpatient visits per day
• Hospital rounding only when patients are admitted for inpatient chemotherapy
• Board Certification in BOTH Hematology and Oncology required
• Active Oregon license preferred, but willing to accept providers needing to obtain
• Clean background/no malpractice history highly preferred
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 6-8 weeks
• 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training required
• DEA registration required
• Self-query NPDB required at time of presentation

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
