High School Statistics Curriculum Writer Consultant

• Compensation between $15,000 and $25,000 per project unit, depending on experience and project scope

• Design full-course curricula for high school STEM subjects, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
• Develop high-quality instructional materials, such as student-facing lessons, labs, projects, and assessments
• Ensure alignment to New York State standards and the employer’s academic vision and outcomes
• Embed inquiry-based learning and opportunities for analytical thinking and problem-solving in curriculum materials
• Collaborate closely with academic leaders and instructional coaches to ensure coherence across courses and grade levels

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics;
  Master’s degree preferred
• At least three years of experience in developing rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
• Proven record of driving strong student outcomes through effective curriculum design
• Ability to use feedback from educators and student performance data to improve curriculum materials
• Strong understanding of New York State education standards and inquiry-based learning principles

• Experience in designing curricula for AP Statistics or similar high school STEM subjects
• Familiarity with assessment design that measures content mastery and skill application
• Background in collaborative curriculum development with multiple stakeholders
• Passion for educational equity and commitment to diversity in education
• Creative problem‑solving skills and a growth mindset
