What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Design full‑course curricula for high school STEM subjects, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
  • Develop high‑quality instructional materials such as student‑facing lessons, labs, projects, and assessments
  • Ensure alignment with New York State standards and the employer's academic vision
  • Embed inquiry‑based learning and opportunities for analytical thinking and problem‑solving in curriculum materials
  • Collaborate with academic leaders and other curriculum writers to ensure coherence across courses and grade levels
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • At least three years of experience in developing rigorous, standards‑aligned curriculum
  • Proven record of driving strong student outcomes through curriculum development
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and utilize feedback to improve curriculum materials
  • Strong understanding of inquiry‑based learning and assessment design
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with high school STEM subjects such as Calculus and AP courses
  • Familiarity with New York State standards for education
  • Previous experience working with diverse student populations
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think analytically
