POSITION
DESCRIPTION:
This posting establishes a pool of candidates for Substitute teaching in the Coos Bay School District.
Perform substitute teaching duties pertinent to the individual teacher who is absent on a particular day or for a designated length of time. Coos Bay Schools will follow all rules and regulations pertaining to TSPC and ORS 342.610.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License issued by the Teaching Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
- Completion of required Vector (Safe Schools) trainings

ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS
The work environments combine a standard classroom setting including standard classroom equipment (assistive technology, copier, phone, Chromebook or computer, audio/visual equipment etc.) in a standard school setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate and occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. The employee may be exposed to blood borne pathogens and/or physically and emotionally dysregulated students.
